Kansas is one of the premier pheasant hunting destinations in North America — and Council Grove puts Legendary Outfitters right in the middle of it. Our private ground covers three farms across some of the most productive upland habitat in the region, giving our hunters access to the kind of rooster hunting that keeps people coming back year after year.
Kansas pheasant season typically runs from early November through late January, with the opener usually falling on the first Saturday of November. This overlaps directly with our waterfowl season — making a combined pheasant and waterfowl trip one of the most popular options for hunters who want to make the most of a Kansas trip. Season dates are set annually by Kansas KDWP — confirm current dates at kdwp.ks.gov before your hunt.

Heated Blinds
Our 8-man heated blinds keep your group warm and focused on the birds, not the cold. Stationary skid blinds positioned across our private ground, with layout blind setups available for field hunting. This is waterfowl hunting done right
